Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 16 July 2025

These Terms govern your use of Crafty DIY services, including the Little Stories in Shimmer, our course pages and community.

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of websites, content, products and services provided by Crafty DIY, operated by Grollth Company (together, "Crafty DIY," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Little Stories in Shimmer, the course sales page at crafty-diy.com/shimmering-stories, related course accounts, communities and services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account or making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.

2. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes may be announced on the Services, by email or another reasonable method. Continued use after the updated effective date constitutes acceptance; otherwise, stop using the Services.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be 18 or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, unless a parent or guardian consents, supervises your use and accepts these Terms. Provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. We may refuse, suspend or terminate accounts where permitted.

4. Permitted and Prohibited Conduct

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial, educational or otherwise authorized purposes. Course downloads and printed materials may be used only as permitted by the course and these Terms.

  • Do not copy, distribute, publicly display, sell or create derivative works from course content without written permission
  • Do not use bots, crawlers or scrapers to bypass controls or extract protected material
  • Do not introduce malware, disrupt systems, gain unauthorized access or bypass security features
  • Do not post illegal, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, infringing or privacy-invasive content
  • Do not impersonate others, commit fraud, harvest user data, spam or violate another person's rights
  • Do not use the Services unlawfully or in a way that damages, disables or overburdens them

5. Educational Content

The Little Stories in Shimmer and related tutorials, demonstrations and creative guidance are educational only. They are not legal, financial, medical, therapeutic, professional or career advice. You are responsible for how you use the materials and for following suitable safety precautions when using pens, paper, tools and supplies.

6. Purchases, Payments and Refunds

Prices, features and availability may change. By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees and taxes, and you confirm that you are authorized to use it.

The Little Stories in Shimmer is currently presented as a one-time purchase and includes the specific materials, bonuses and access described on the sales and checkout pages at the time of purchase. It is offered with the 30-day money-back guarantee described on the sales page, subject to applicable law. To request help or a refund within the stated guarantee period, email [email protected] with your purchase email and order details.

Other products or subscriptions may have separate terms. Recurring subscriptions, if offered, renew until cancelled according to the relevant offer. Except where law or an express offer requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services and all Crafty DIY content—including course videos, demonstrations, lesson text, downloads, artwork examples, graphics, logos, software, designs and educational materials—are owned by or licensed to Grollth Company and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for limited personal use expressly permitted by the course, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, distribute, perform, display, license, sell or exploit that content without written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Crafty DIY, Grollth Company and associated marks are trademarks or service marks of their owners. Third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

8. User Content

User Content includes artwork, assignments, projects, comments, messages, photos, video, audio, reviews and feedback you submit. You confirm that you own or have the rights needed to submit it and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

By submitting User Content, you grant Crafty DIY a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute and otherwise use it to operate, improve, provide and promote the Services, subject to privacy settings, opt-outs, our Privacy Policy and applicable law. When you choose to share content with other users or publicly, those users may access and use it through the Services. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation. To the extent permitted by law, you waive moral rights that would prevent these permitted uses.

9. Third-Party Services and Privacy

Third-party platforms, payment processors and links are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their services or your dealings with them. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a legally compliant notice to [email protected]. We may remove or disable allegedly infringing content and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

11. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND ALL CRAFTY DIY CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE ACCESS, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR ARTISTIC OR OTHER RESULT WILL BE ACHIEVED. YOUR USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRAFTY DIY, GROLLTH COMPANY AND THEIR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR USD $100. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED IN YOUR JURISDICTION.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Crafty DIY, Grollth Company and their affiliates, personnel, agents, licensors and partners from claims, liabilities, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, your violation of these Terms or law, or your violation of another person's rights.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where we believe these Terms were violated, there is a security or legal risk, or another permitted reason applies. On termination, your right to use the Services ends. Provisions that should reasonably survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and dispute provisions—remain effective.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before filing a claim, contact [email protected] with a written description and your contact details. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may begin formal proceedings. Disputes shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre under its rules in force when the notice is submitted. The seat is Hong Kong, the tribunal consists of one arbitrator and the language is English. Either party may seek temporary equitable relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information. To the extent permitted by law, proceedings are individual rather than class or representative actions, and jury-trial rights are waived.

16. Children, International Use and Communications

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data without verifiable parental consent. Users are responsible for compliance with local law and applicable export controls and sanctions.

You agree that notices may be provided electronically. By creating an account or purchasing, you agree to receive necessary transactional and service communications. You may opt out of non-essential marketing.

17. Availability and Service Changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services and may introduce features subject to additional terms. We do not guarantee permanent availability of every feature, community or delivery method, although any mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

18. General Provisions

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remainder continues. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a business transaction. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and incorporated offer-specific terms are the entire agreement concerning the Services.
